This is a new adventure for me. Starting a blog is something that I have thought about for awhile. I love looking at blogs that deal with two things...two of my favorite things...crafting and baking! What better blog for me to start than one that combines both!
As a child I was into whatever crafting kit I could get my hands on. As I grew out of bead kits, sand art kits, and whatever craft involved stickers I grew into scrapbooking. I did what I thought was good scrapbooking throughout my high school years and then stopped. I felt that I had nothing to scrapbook. Several years went by and my aunt asked me to make a scrapbook of her new grandson for her daughter for Christmas. Challenge accepted! Shortly after I got a new puppy and started her a scrapbook. Next, I got a Cricut machine and the rest is history! I love to scrapbook!
Scrapbooking also turned into my other favorite crafting hobby, which is making cards. I love the challenge of thinking of new cards for all my loved ones and also seeing their reaction when they receive one.
Last, but not least, I enjoy baking. I have always been more of a baker than a cooker and love spending down time trying new recipes and amusing my sweet tooth. Cupcakes, cake, brownies, breads, and any other yummy concoction that I can dream up! I get my recipes from family, friends, co-workers, Pinterest, cooking shows, and cookbooks. I also have a few food blogs that I follow and look forward to sharing with you.
