Browned Butter Pasta

A quick disclaimer: This is not a blog about browned butter dishes, however, it is my current obsession!

A few months ago I had a wonderful Chicken Marsala with Browned Butter Pasta topped with Mizithra Cheese from Spaghetti Factory.  Now, if you have never tried any dish with browned butter I highly recommend it!  It has a delicious nutty smell and taste that is just fantastic!  The mizithra cheese is a form of goat cheese and it is simply creamy and delicious!

In my last post I made browned butter no bake cookies.  Once I realized that the browned butter was what I loved so much about that pasta dish I knew I had to try to recreate it.  I have searched high and low for mizithra cheese, but had to settle for Parmesan cheese when I recreated this dish.  I will not give up the search though!

So here it is pasta lovers!  Prepare to indulge!

3 needed ingredients and 1 optional!  Box of spaghetti noodles (I prefer angel hair or thin spaghetti), 1 stick of butter, Parmesan cheese (or mizithra cheese if you can find it-try to!)

Boil spaghetti noodles

Browing butter is a scary and delicious thing!
Be VERY careful that you take it off the heat as soon as it reaches a golden brown.  You should also be able to tell that it has reached the right point by smell also.  A delicious, nutty smell!

Once butter is browned toss with noodles and top with cheese.  Add some butter bread and ENJOY!!!

**This post was a long time coming.  I had forgotten, unfortunately, about my blog and opened it to find this post saved and pending.  I hope you enjoy!  It is amazing!
